A fabulous opportunity to “take the reins” of a high performing, well connected Human Resources division that is respected across the geographically spread staff of approximately 1000, and the unique business units in which they operate.

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be expected to contribute significantly at that level. Such is the standing of the role, and HR in the organisation, you will also have regular interaction and involvement at Board level. It should therefore be evident that you will have proven experience, that reinforces your strategic success, both for your discipline, and for the broader organisation.

A key part of the latter capability, will be through developing effective relationships with the other General Manager’s so that they can realise the potential of their teams and deliver their business objectives.

While the team is performing particularly well, alongside the ever demanding business as usual, there are still major developments you will own.  These include: development of a Workforce Planning Strategy; strategy around the “future of work” and its impact on Meridian/the sector; the “cultural integration” of a major new integrated technology platform; ongoing focus and development of the diversity and inclusion strategy; Further development of a Centre for Learning, incorporating individual as well as organisational needs; and working closely with the CEO as a trusted advisor in relation to all relevant areas.
