Account Manager – Merchant Relationships
A rare opportunity to be involved in the promotion of what are unquestionably “beautiful, high end” bathroom and kitchen products.
Our client sources high quality mainly Italian bathroom and kitchen products which are as far as you can get from “commodity” items. The aesthetic appeal and unique quality of these products has contributed to the company, which has been operating for over 30 years, being extremely successful.
Your customer base will span the Merchants across the Auckland/Northland region and you will have the opportunity to “own” customer relationships and maximise the commercial opportunities from your customer group.
Mostly, these are existing customers with strong commercial arrangements in place. However given the quality of the product ranges you will be selling there is a real potential for growth within the existing customer base utilising your superior ability to develop strong and lasting relationships.
The motivation and determination to grow “your business” into new customers across the merchant sector, would unquestionably bring reward.
With major national and local initiatives in place, they are determined to genuinely increase the value add to their customers as well as their customer customers. You will be joining a united, focussed and highly successful sales team with a leadership that provides the backing and tools to succeed.
While a background dealing with the Merchant sector would be advantageous, critically important is someone who has a passion for superior product, is not price driven, instead, innately understands and represents the value of superior product. The successful candidate will have:
- Superior relationship building and communication skills, that have brought tangible and measurable results.
- Proven B2B sales success in a competitive market.
- Outstanding commercial acumen.
- Whilst they will have a base in the Auckland showroom, they must be someone who is a self-starter and wants to spend their time with customers.
